Rodah has more than 20 years’ experience as a trainer; educator; facilitation of workshops, personal resources development, innovation, Financial management and Leadership development, community development, business incubation and gender issues, project management in West, Central, Eastern and Southern Africa.
She is experienced in Non-profits, Program Evaluation, International Development, Policy Analysis, and qualitative Research, International Relations, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Program Management, Civil Society, Report and Proposal writing and Customer Service. Rodah worked on consultancy basis and carried out Research with IANSA (International Action Network on Small Arms), UN Habitat and UNDP respectively. She has also worked and Volunteered with American Red Cross in areas of Disaster and Risk management, case management and office management.
Rodah is an excellent negotiation and counselling skills and has. ability to mainstream cross-cutting issues (good governance, human rights and rights-based approach, violence reduction, gender issues and HIV/AIDS) in the design and evaluation of development interventions.
She has tirelessly worked with the African diaspora to bring Kenyans together during the Kenyan Flag Raiser to commemorate Kenyan Independence at Newark Municipal Hall with the Honorable Ras J. Baraka, the mayor of Newark; spearheaded a consultative forum between the Kenyan Business Community and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Co-operative University of Kenya, Professor Akuno. She is the Executive Secretary of the Kenya Diaspora Alliance, and links the African Diaspora community with the Kenyan leaders back home.
Currently she works with New York Life Insurance Company as a financial Professional, helping individuals, families and businesspeople have sound strategic Financial Plans, Educating and empowering the community about Financial freedom and wellness. Additionally, Rodah is involved in the campaign ‘To Impact Generations by Placing 50 Billion dollars back in the African American’ community through Life Insurance and other tools. This initiative helps build a legacy and minimize the Racial Wealth Gap within the African American community.
